In his studio, located in the heart of the historic city centre, Montagnani has been creating bronze statuettes (reproductions of Etruscan art, including the famous “Shadow of the Evening”) with meticulous hand-finished details and naturalistic patina since 1978. The principal characteristic of this production lies in the use of this prized metal, which was also used by the Etruscans, while other similar products are usually made out of less expensive alloys (such as brass, zinc and aluminium or antimony) and are mass-produced. In order to distinguish and recognize the quality of these objects the “Guaranteed Bronze” seal has been created, which appears on all of his statuettes and on the lifetime guarantee that accompanies them.
