Podere (farmhouse) Fraggina is situated 500 metres from the remains of the Etruscan wall and has a view on the dramatic scene of the Balze (crag).
On the ground floor, parts of which the fundaments date from the 16th century, the english-speaking resident owners, have built 4 apartments suitable for devotees of the characteristic Tuscan landscape. It is possible to go for walks starting on our own terrain of 7 hectares, with wood and olive groves, visiting the town of Volterra and the many interesting villages and churches to be found in the surrounding countryside. The recently restored apartments have retained the original Tuscan farmhouse architecture while incorporating kitchen, bathroom and central heating, making it suitable for year round occupation. The price is inclusive of linen and electricity. Heating is available at extra cost.
