The 162 hectare farm is perfectly integrated in the countryside, on the road from Volterra to Pisa, and is bounded by the “Balze” (the cliffs) of Volterra, the Belforti tower of Montecatini Val di Cecina and the “Rocca (fortress) di Pietracassia”.
It contains two houses, Mandriola and Ragone, that have maintained the typical architecture of the Tuscan country houses of the 18th century.
It is a working farm where wheat and vegetables are grown and animals are raised. Orchards, vineyards and woods are also on the farm.
