Opened in 1982, the S. Lino Hotel is built on the site of an ancient convent and every effort has been made to retain its original atmosphere.
The hotel is situated within the ancient city walls of Volterra, near to the Piazza dei Priori (Town Hall Square) and close to the Balze, (the famous cliffs).
The former convent cells have been transformed into 43 comfortable bedrooms, all with private bathrooms,TV, fridge-bar, air-conditioning. The hotel was restructured in 1994. The S. Lino Hotel offers a combination of modern comfort and centuries-old hospitality. The dining rooms, which are warmly and elegantly furnished, offer a varied cuisine including local specialities. In addition we offer: a TV lounge, bar, swimming pool with a sunny terrace and internet point.
