“Sull’onda del pennello”
Personal painting by Stephen Urzi
Opening Saturday, April 5th, 2014, 17:00
April 5th to April 30th, 2014
Close-ups that go directly towards the viewer by breaking the boundary between the inside and the outside of an immediate view and suspense. Attacks poetic compositions in spectacular landscapes and seascapes by transforming the same genre.
Stefano Urzi, “son” of the color codes and formal Latin, but also contemporary master of the evocative marine Livorno, exposes his fresh and tumultuous seas, in the land of geothermal Tuscany.
Launching Saturday, April 5th, 2014 at 17:00, Montecerboli (Pomarance – PI), at the exhibition space of the local ACLI, the staff “wave brush”, an exhibition curated and promoted by Andrei Mario, director of the Gallery “Impara l’Arte” in Pomarance and engaged in a sustained awareness of the enjoyment of art for future generations.
A double, or triple, score, occurs in the works of Urzi, which short-circuits the flat calm to turbulent motion – and shady – working with semantically styles of visual immediacy and involvement that evoke the murals, to go into the mystery of the moment of the change. Emphasis on the transformation of a time that slips by nature to the evocative power of a space transformed by a hyper surreal, with contamination from the expressive power of the informal.
Stefano Urzi was born in Livorno in 1963.
The exhibition, at Via Della Chiesa, will be open to visitors until April 30, 2014, afternoon hours.
